Just a quick check in here to keep everyone up to date!
First of all, we wanted to thank everyone for their kind messages of support over the last few weeks. Those that have been affected have really handled the situation so well and you have made our lives easier by being so patient and resilient; THANK YOU!
We are still looking into our “Crystal Ball” each day to see when this will be over, but unfortunately it seems to be having some annoying technical issues!!
We are of course continuing to monitor the situation and policies day by day and are looking to bookings a little further down the line now too. We hope it doesn’t get to that, but we shall take each day/week as it comes.
A gentle reminder to not feed into the “panic” from the media and “fake news” on social media etc. There are a lot of theories and opinions out there but honestly no one can tell us when this will end. Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later!
Smartraveller remains a reliable and up-to-date news source for travellers and it is a good idea to always check there for destination and transit updates specific to your travel plans. Airline direct websites are also continually updated and, of course, we will always be in touch if/when the need arises.
Aside from all the doom & gloom, our lucky Sharon is currently on an adventure of lifetime with Journey Beyond. She has been exploring the Red Centre with Outback Spirit and has just boarded the famous Ghan on her way to Adelaide.
We are also all looking forward to the Easter Break, please see our holiday hours below. I am off on a cruise with the family to the South Pacific so I’ll be back after the 15th April, unless I decide to stay in the middle of the Pacific instead…
