Hello Travellers,

Winter is over and spring is finally here! Hoorah!

I hope you survived the winter or were lucky enough to escape for a few weeks to warmer weather like I did. From what I have heard, I went at just the right time! I had a wonderful five weeks in Europe with friends and family and you can read my post-holiday interview here.

Robyn is off to Koh Samui on Friday for a wedding but won’t be gone for long!

Then it’s Nene’s turn; it took a while but finally we got her to take a well-deserved holiday!! She is off on a European extravaganza with her husband (my Dad). You can read her “pre-holiday” interview here.

In our travel world, spring brings us to the start or earlybird season for Europe 2016. It seems crazy as some of you are not even home from this year’s European trips, but it truly is a great time to book your airfares, tours & cruises for the next northern summer. We will try our best to keep you informed as the airfares come out but if you already have a plan in mind please let us know and we will contact you as soon as we find some suitable options.

Flack Studio Architecture tour looks like it will be going ahead on the 1st November. It isn’t too late if you want to join us. Please see details here and move fast!

Just like their neighbours, the USA, the Canadian government has introduced a new entry requirement known as an Electronic Travel Authorization (eta), for certain international travellers when they fly to Canada. There is more info in our Travel Tips section.

At this time of year we also launch full swing into wedding season! Did you know we offer a Bridal Registry Service in conjunction with your honeymoon bookings? It’s never been easier to achieve your dream honeymoon. Ask us for details.

As much as we prefer you to book your Christmas holidays as far in advance as possible, have you considered a cruise this year? There are many cruise lines commencing cruises from Port Melbourne over the summer.

If you are hesitant about cruising but curious to see what it’s all about then why not try a “Sampler Cruise”? Many cruise lines operate 1-3 day cruises that are a great way to experience the cruising life!

Here are a few of our favourite companies with cruises from Melbourne this season. (links) Princess P&O Holland America

As we say, never stop travelling!

“I always have a problem liking things that I’m told I should like. This has been the problem with most of the Wonders I have seen so far. The fact that this one is called the ‘Great’ Wall of China annoys me. I’ll decide if it’s great or not. It might end up being the ‘All Right Wall of China’ to me.”

The Government of Canada has introduced a new entry requirement, known as an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA), for certain international travellers when they fly to Canada. Under eTA, citizens from countries other than the United States (U.S.) who do not need a visa to enter Canada will need to obtain an online authorization before flying to Canada. From August 1, 2015, eligible travellers can apply online for an eTA. On March 15, 2016, this entry requirement will become mandatory and travellers will need an eTA before they can board a flight to Canada.
More information on eTA is available at www.canada.ca/eTA
